During the 2023 budget reading,
the finance minister Mr. Ken Ofori Atta made an announcement that the
government in the coming year will not recruit more staff into the public or
civil service.
According to him the freeze forms part of
government directives on expenditure measures in these times of economic
hardship we find ourselves as a country in.
He also added no new government agency will
be established in 2023.
