A/R: NPP polling station Chairman allegedly shoots wife to death at Danyame

According to reports, Kwaku Seidu, 50, also known as Kukrudu, the NPP voting station chairman in Danyame, shot and killed his wife Adwoa, who was in her late 40s.

The incident happened in the Ashanti region at Tepa-Danyame in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality.

According to reports, the husband wanted to sell a plot of land, but the two women didn't agree, leading to a quarrel.

Chief Nana Mazua of the Danyame Zongo was informed of the problem and invited the three to find a solution.

The offender pretended to understand and returned home to get a gun before killing his second wife, Adwoa.

Frederick Nyamekye, an assemblyman for the region, and Nana Asamoah Ampem Dankwah, the town's chief, attested that the youth severely beat the offender before Tepa District Police command got involved.

While the suspect is undergoing treatment at the same hospital, the body of the dead has been placed in the mortuary at the Tepa Government Hospital pending investigations.
