For stealing palm oil and a palm kennel at Abeadze Towoboase in the Central Region, a guy thought to be in his late 20s and wearing a fire service uniform was apprehended and brutally beaten.
On March 15, 2023, around daybreak, the suspect was apprehended with more than 10 gallons of stolen palm oil and a palm kennel from a palm oil mill.
It is thought that the suspect is a false fire service officer because he refused to show his identification card or specify the fire station where he works when he was questioned.
The locals kept a close eye on him as he stole the palm oil, but he was caught just as he was ready to go. He was then severely beaten while pleading for mercy.
Then, the unidentified suspect was hauled to the Mankessim Divisional Police Station in Jedu for further investigation.
