On social media, a video showing the moment a lady abused her closest friend for being married to her husband during their wedding ceremony has gone viral.
According to reports, the incident recently took place in one of Nigeria's northern states.
As is customary in Fulani tradition, the second wife of the groom, who was to be the new bride, went to meet the first wife during the ceremony to offer her respects.
She was anticipated to be warmly welcomed into the family by the first wife. Yet, she had been so enraged with her best friend for allegedly betraying their friendship.
In front of the wedding guests, she attacked the soon-to-be bride in a fit of wrath.
According to reports, the first wife was furious since she had supported her husband financially for years thanks to the investment she had made with her father, which had helped him run a profitable business. They also purchased real estate and built homes.
The husband chose to accept her closest friend as his second wife when they become extremely wealthy and at ease.
Because of this, when the new wife attended the wedding to pay her respects, the first wife lost her temper and attacked her in front of their guests.
