In a shocking turn of events, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded at a local barbering shop, leaving the community in a state of deep sorrow. Reports indicate that a Senior High School (SHS) student, Abigail Asare , tragically lost her life due to an alleged stabbing by her boyfriend.
The incident, which occurred within the premises of the barbering shop, has sent shockwaves throughout the town. Eyewitnesses recount a scene of chaos and despair as the young girl's life was cut short in such a senseless act of violence.
According to reports, a female student in form 2 at Nsutem Senior High School in the Eastern region's Fanteakwa South area was fatally stabbed by her barber lover for having an extramarital affair.
Abigail Asare, 18, a student in General Arts I, reportedly went to see her lover at his barbershop in Nsutem Township on June 1, 2023, after the school had ordered the students to leave for break.
However, misunderstandings developed between her and her boyfriend, Michael Osei, after he accused her of having an extramarital affair.
She was allegedly repeatedly stabbed to death at the barbershop in the early evening, and the culprit fled after locking the heavily wounded victim inside.

Later, the dead body of the deceased was discovered in a pool of blood in the barbershop.
The saloon was broken into for crime scene inventories after the police were notified, and the body was removed to the morgue pending more investigation.
According to reports, the deceased lived in Akyem Enyiresi.
