15-year-old stabs classmate to death over a girl

On June 18, 2023, a surprising and tragic incident took place close to Masongwe Secondary School when a 15-year-old kid is accused of fatally stabbing a classmate with a kitchen knife.

It was said that a disagreement over a girl, whose identity was not made public, started the altercation.

The defendant allegedly brandished a kitchen knife during the argument and assaulted the victim, inflicting fatal injuries to his head and shoulder.

Unfortunately, the victim passed away as a result of his wounds right away after the stabbing, leaving the school community and the locals grieved by the senseless loss of life.

The police acknowledged that the incident is still being looked into in a statement released by the authorities.

The declaration reads:

“Police in Mwenezi are investigating a case of murder in which a male juvenile (15) stabbed another juvenile (15) with a kitchen knife on the shoulder and head after an argument over the suspect’s girlfriend on 18/07/23 near Masongwe Secondary School. The victim died on the spot.”
