Cletus Seidu Dapilah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Jirapa Constituency in the Upper West Region, has denounced the perpetrator of the assault at Adisadel College.
The abuser, in the legislator's opinion, meant to kill the victim and had evil intents.
Mr. Dapilah praised the Ghana Education Service (GES) for the punishment given to the abuser in this manner.
He thinks the punishment is appropriate. Housemasters and housemistresses should be serious about school surveillance, nevertheless.
"Well, I watched it, and I'm pleased with what the Ghana Education Service did. I simply praise them. The guys have already been expelled from school as a result of their actions, and an inquiry is still ongoing. Bullying in secondary school, in my opinion, was not what we witnessed there.
"That senior was simply being evil and wanted to kill people. "Bullying a junior to the point where he hits his head against a metallic bed is not bullying; it is wickedness," he claimed in an interview with on July 26. "What we all know about bullying is just the bowing down, going to fetch water for seniors, and washing for them.
Concerns regarding the safety of children inside the nation's educational institutions have been raised in response to the video, which has been making the rounds on social media.
Another student was spotted being nearly strangled by a fellow student who appeared to be older. Other students watched and recorded the assault as the victim, who seemed younger, sustained facial bruising.
