Prince Harry's autobiography causing chaos abroad as hotels rush to get rid of unwanted books

The autobiography of Prince Harry is making a stir abroad as hotels scramble to get rid of the unwelcome book.

Over 100 Spare copies have been abandoned in resorts across Europe while the travel operator tries to distribute them.

The online travel agency On The Beach claimed to have collected numerous discarded copies of the Duke of Sussex's memoirs from hotels in Greece, Turkey, and Spain.

The company's chief customer officer, Zoe Harris, claimed that her team had "never seen anything quite like it."

British visitors have been leaving Spare beside the pool, in their rooms, or on bookcases in hotel lobby.

On The Beach intends to distribute the extra books via social media as libraries and other bookstores aren't taking the rejected copies.

Spare is in great demand at the lost property offices in our busiest resorts, and we just received a few of Prince Harry's books in the mail from a resort where several of our clients had vacationed.

"At first, we found it to be rather humorous.

"However, some other hotels have been returning the books over the previous few months. We now have bookcases filled with them.Hotels, if you could quit sending them over, we'll never be able to get rid of them all.

In order to promote his memoirs, the Duke of Sussex gave multiple TV appearances where he criticised the Royal Family. The book was published in January 2023.

In his memoir, Prince Harry made digs at Camilla, Princess Kate, and his brother Prince William.

According to a source, Meghan Markle now regrets not participating more in the book because the couple has been dubbed "professional whiners" as a result of its publication.

It's not as easy for Meghan to distance herself since she needs to be seen as totally supporting Harry, the insider told Heat. "Meghan can now see that, whether it's fair or not, they are being viewed as these professional whiners," the source said.

She now regrets not being more involved or hands-on with him when he was putting his book together.

"This idea that she micromanaged what he wrote or had any input into the manuscript is just false; Harry's book was her book, and she allowed him finish it on his own.

The fact that she let him handle those tasks on his own and made a point of not interfering was proof that the same applied to his interviews and promotional tours.
