Atwiman Nwabiagya South District of the Ashanti, in Abuakwa, the mother, 28, and her two children perished in a fire.
S. Abigail Yeaboah, her two daughters Norah Yeboah, 9, and Philipa Yeboah, 6, were all killed in a fire that destroyed their four-bedroom home on Wednesday morning.
The murdered family became trapped in their room while they were sleeping at the time of the occurrence.
Eyewitnesses claim that two more people who were in the residence also made it out safely.
The three family members were begging for help when other locals rushed to the site to save them, but it was too late.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading, but the entire four-bedroom house was completely destroyed.
As of the time this report was being filled out, security personnel were still on the scene retrieving the burned bodies.
