A swarm of bees swoops down on guests during a traditional wedding in Okija, Anambra, and begins assaulting them at the site.
An eyewitness told the story to an Instagram blogger about the incident.
He and his team had traveled to Anambra for a customary wedding gig, according to the reporter.
The elders refused to give the lady the palm to look for her husband among the crowd during the occasion, as is typical in the tradition.
The event had been scheduled on the same day as the town's market day, which is frowned upon.
A swarm of bees was said to have attacked the location and begun attacking the visitors, disturbing the festivity.
A video released online shows the guests running while swiping at the bees who followed them.
According to the eyewitness:
