A charismatic pastor from Uganda went popular on social media after commanding his wife and children to walk naked beside him in Kampala.
In a viral video, the pastor, his wife, and their one child were seen walking about in street clothes.
The pastor claims that his choice to stroll about naked with his family is an attempt to imitate Adam and Eve.
Genesis 1 of the Holy Bible describes the creation week, during which God created the heavens and the earth and populated them with beings to carry out His purpose and plan.
The final sentence of all this creative activity is, "And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed" (Genesis 2:25, ESV). Genesis 2 zooms in to focus on His creation of the first man and woman.
Since Adam and Eve were sinless and guiltless, they had no need to feel ashamed. Genesis 3's events help us comprehend the importance of that state of innocence.
