Ghanaians drag Sarkodie for defending GEPA CEO blowing Ghc1 billion on a 3-minute documentary

Celebrated Ghanaian musician Sarkodie has come under fire from Twitter users after he stood up in a post to defend the NPP from criticism.

The multiple award-winning rapper immediately defended Afia Asabea Asare, the CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), when it was said that she had spent 100,000 (one billion old cedis) on a three-minute video documentary promoting her management, according to ghpage.com.

Sole-sourcing was used to award the contract to Yaw Pare Photography, which social media users feel is improper.

Sarkodie, however, chose to leap to her defence in a now-trending tweet.

He says there's a 100% chance you could spend GHC 100,000 on a three-minute film.
